Brain Scratch
EEEEEK. 2,086 fonts to browse. What to do on Lion?
Pro-Tip when you get UNGAINLY collections like this on Lion:
- Open up the folder full of 2000 odd fonts. View as icons..
- Use Lion’s ‘icon size slider’ to grow the icon to see the fonts in a half-emsquare. It’s RELATIVELY accurate. Swipe scroll away.
- Then, use Quicklook (hit spacebar) to see the A-Z a-z list.
- Finally, you can ‘Open in FontBook’ (without installing) to see if there are any other instances in the Font. Not in this set. What you see is what you get.
You can do this without installing the fonts on your system. Which I STRONGLY recommend you do first.
Oh, and to folks coming in from MacUpdate: Sorry for the typos in my review. No more reviews at 4am. MU really needs an ‘edit’ button like Tumblr. ;-)
